They are elastic, so they're able to follow your body shape and allow you freedom of movement. This can provide greater security and peace of mind that your barrier will stay in place. Much like tape, the strips are designed to be applied around the edges of the barrier (overlapping onto the skin). You can use either one or two strips, depending on where you need extra security.
